I ride bikes! I know that *knowing* laws won’t keep you from being hit but it will keep you safer on the roads to avoid *potential* accidents, and you KNOWING your rights if you do get hit. It is important, and not looking like an asshole will improve communities. YOU stop acting like a naive bike-know-all and educate yourself to protect your rights on the road, and the respect as a cyclist! Please educate yourself on your local bike laws! I see so many of you *hip* novice cyclists setting such shitty examples of riding a bike. Please continue to ride your bike, but please stop being so ill educated about very important matters in your community. You are not that powerful on the road, and most drivers also feel the same way. Please take the time to take a look at bikeleague.org’s Laws By State website to help you become a better example in your neighborhood.
THANK YOU,

Yay, more snarky, self-righteousness directed at people who fucking ride bikes! Let’s ostracize each other even though we all like the same things. I am soooooooo much better than youuuuuuuuuuuu.
Have fun getting hit by a car then? It’s not fun.
You can be a walking encyclopedia of bike laws and still get hurt. :( Whether you’re new to riding fixed shouldn’t be a reason for vitriol. Everyone starts somewhere.
You can be safe while riding though instead of blowing threw every red light and stop sign wondering if your going to get smashed or not. Ive only been riding fixed a short time and Ive been a lot safer sense I got hit. There isn’t a reason other people can’t be either.
I work as a bicycle courier in toronto. Knowing the laws will help YOU, but will not stop that person in an SUV from squeezing you to the curb. Ride smart, wear a helmet regardless of skill level, use a FUCKING BELL, two lights, plan ahead as in keep looking down the road for possible problems. If you are gunna blow red lights. check to your left first. then to your right, cause you’ll get smoked from your left first. Other then that enjoy! its still enjoyable to ride when you ride smart. I like my life, and i hate seeing other people get put in retarded situations. You knowing the laws wont stop the accidents, until you start riding preventively. Most drivers don’t know cyclist laws or their rights and if they do they honestly couldn’t give a shit. end of story
Ride to Live, Live to Ride. <3
